[Campus] Capturing the 2025-2 Global Campus Festival — Adelante: With the Resonance
The Kyung Hee University (KHU) Global Campus’ 2025 second semester festival was held from September 16 to 18, which titled Adelante: with the resonance. The event embodied the true spirit of university life, featuring talented student performances and special stages by invited artists. During these three days, KHU Global Campus buzzed with vibrant energy, enthusiastic cheers, and a strong sense of unity among students.
The first day of Adelante began with KHU president Kim Jin-sang’s opening speech, followed by various student and artist performances. Kim mentioned campus issues such as cafeteria meals, the official naming of buildings, and university experiences for future job recruitment, making commitments to improve the academic environment for KHU students. Student performances featured Rap-in, the windmill—baramgaebi in Korean—and the Global Campus cheerleading team Khurs-la. Artist performances included fromis_9 and Jannabi, who energized the stage. Despite the heavy downpour, the weather could not dampen the students’ enthusiasm.

The dance team Shabuolday and Taekwondo demonstration team diversified the visitors’ entertainment options. Especially, band performances and quality shows by the Dept. of Postmodern Music students added excitement for attendees. The day concluded with artist performances by Winner, J-Park, Heart2Heart, and BIBI, who entertained the crowd with their songs.

The last day of Adelante featured band music and dance performances. Student-organized bands including Egg Fried Rice, Takbok Guardian—meaning preferring hard peach rather than soft peach—and Jeong Hyo-gyeong Band opened the performances, followed by the College of Foreign Language and Literature’s dance club Fl:ex. The student showcase concluded with comprehensive performances by Dept. of Postmodern Music students, including teams Legendary, Si-geup, and Gyong-po-gwa-jeon—meaning “the Dept. of Postmodern Music of KHU is legend.” For the closing artist performances, Balming Tiger, Hyun-sang, and Beenzino brought the 2025 Adelante festival to an end.
