“2024 Adelante: with the records of”, the autumn festival of Kyung Hee University (KHU) Global Campus, will be held from October 29 to 31. “Adelante” is the official title for the Global 

Campus festival, held twice annually, in spring and autumn. This year’s autumn “Adelante” focuses on culture and solidarity, extraordinary experience and identity. 

Diverse student-led festival booths, a flea market, food trucks, photo booths, student performances, and special guest performances are prepared for this year’s festival. The festival booths will be set up in front of the Multimedia Education Building and the Grand Stadium. The flea market, where students can buy a variety of unique products at special prices, will take place beside the College of Engineering and the College of Foreign Languages. Moreover, the students can capture memories with six different types of photo frames available at the five photo booths: two near the main gate and three around the Grand Stadium.

On the first day of the festival, singer Kim Su-young and the band Crying Nut will be performing. The next day, the K-pop boy group TWS, the K-pop girl group Aespa, and the band YB will be on stage. To top off the festival on the final day, the band Lucy and a hip-hop duo Dynamic Duo will be decorating the stage. All performances will take place at the Grand Stadium, scheduled to start at 5:45 p.m. on the first day and 6:00 p.m. on the second and last days.

Everyone can freely enter the Grand Stadium to watch the first and last days’ performances. KHU students will have access to the exclusive Kyung Hee zone, which is located close to the stage for a better view. To enter this zone, students must collect a wristband at the designated booth. About 4,000 wristbands will be distributed at the booth from 5:00 p.m. until they run out. According to Global Campus’ General Student Association (GSA), the Running, students must prove that they are members of KHU by presenting both their student identification card and personal ID cards in a physical form to receive a wristband. Digital copies, such as screenshots or pictures of the ID cards will not be accepted. 

However, on the second day, entry to the Grand Stadium will be restricted for safety reasons. After 5:00 p.m., only individuals with a stamp from the designated booth will be permitted to enter the place. According to GSA, about 3,000 stamps are prepared for the KHU members and 1,000 stamps are prepared for the outsiders. The stamps can be collected at the stamp booth. 

Also, Kyung Hee zone will be operated as an enrolled-student zone, where only the currently enrolled students and the students on leave of absence can enter. To enter the zone, students are required to get the wristband at the wristband booth.
