[Campus] KHU Partners with Korea Guidance to Boost Student Career Development
On June 28, General Student Association (GSA) of Kyung Hee University (KHU)’s Seoul Campus, the Kyung Hee Campus Town Business Unit, and Korea Guidance signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a social advancement support project. Through this agreement, Korea Guidance will provide all KHU members with free psychological assessments related to job preparation.
Korea Guidance is a leading psychological testing and research institution in Korea, developing and maintaining over 100 tests in areas such as intelligence, talent, aptitude, interest, and clinical fields. The institution conducts more than two million diagnostic tests annually for prestigious universities, hospitals, and other entities across the country.
As a result of this newly signed MOU, all KHU members will gain access to Korea Guidance’s psychological diagnostic tests. Based on the test results, they will receive tailored professional analysis services to support personalized job and startup preparation.
Furthermore, in collaboration with the GSA of Seoul Campus, the Kyung Hee Campus Town Business Unit has announced plans to utilize Korea Guidance’s human resource analysis program to support KHU members in their recruitment processes. The Kyung Hee Campus Town Business Unit is an organization that promotes entrepreneurship and regional development in collaboration with KHU and the local community. KHU was selected in 2017 to participate in the Campus Town Construction Project, an initiative by the Seoul Metropolitan Government aimed at addressing youth issues and revitalizing local areas by fostering mutual growth centered around university communities. The Kyung Hee Campus Town Business Unit plans to use Korea Guidance’s program to connect KHU members with companies among the 250 Campus Town Construction Project businesses that have stable operations and are seeking new hires.
The purpose of this MOU is to strengthen the students’ social advancement capabilities through mutual cooperation and to jointly promote various career and employment support initiatives, enabling students to grow into key talents who will lead future society. It is anticipated that this agreement will be beneficial for KHU members in their employment and entrepreneurial endeavors.
