[Campus] Kyung Hee Global Campus Cherry Blossom Festival at the Doorstep
“2025 Kyung Hee Land: The Invitation of Spring”, the annual spring festival of Kyung Hee University (KHU) Global Campus, will be held from April 8 to 9. Its name, Kyung Hee Land, is led by the University’s vibrant cheery blossom landscape. To make the festival enjoyable for all participants, the festival offers diverse booths and programs.
Due to the construction of Philosopher’s Square, this year’s Kyung Hee Land will be held in Peace Amphitheater. Diverse student-led festival booths, promotional booths, a film festival, food trucks, photo booths, and various events are prepared for this year’s festival. However, performances will not be held this year due to safety reasons at Peace Amphitheater, according to the General Student Association (GSA).
14 Food trucks, a photo booth, and a GSA-led booth will be on display from 11:30 to 21:00. Student-led festival booths and promotional booths will be on display from 11:30 to 18:00. The film festival will last two hours, starting at 19:00 and ending at 21:00. The film festival will feature On Your Wedding Day on the first day and the movie Secret on the second day.
The festival will also provide a Pick-Up Area, a Designated Smoking Area, and trash cans for the students' convenience. Additionally, a mat seating area will be available for Kyung Hee members, with a maximum usage limit of two hours. GSA-lead booth will sell festival merchandises including tattoo stickers, keyrings, drawstring bags, and Kyung Hee Land postcards. All the profits from the sales will be donated to support the forest fire damage that happened in March 2025 in the Yeongnam Region.
There are no entry restrictions to the festival, and international students are warmly encouraged to participate. According to the GSA, they are hoping for many international students to join this festival.
More information about the festival can be found on the official Instagram account of the GSA (@khu_57_core).
